Slayve (formerly known as SpartacusP2P) is "YouTube meets LimeWire" digital data exchange platform. It allows merchants to sell media or share it for free using the Spartacus website or P2P application. The Slayve website includes a Flash widget and a HTML widget for users to broadcast their playlists, and offers sharers video encoding for all possible video formats. Slayve accomodates basically any type of digital files: audio, video, photo, documents, software & archives.
The main challenge was the file sharing security and scalability, and we achieved this by security in storage and by preparing the solution for a multi-server or cloud storage environment.
