Usual Procedure for Development Projects

Step 1: Requirements.
Client submits a brief description of the project and its requirements.
Step 2: Requirements Questions.
We discuss any questions that arise from the description.
Step 3: Specification.
We present a SRS (Software Requirement Specification) for the project which will serve as the soul scope of work for the project, and a flat price for the project.
Step 4: Spefication Revisions.
Client accepts SRS or requests changes and we re-calculate the price according to the new requirements.
Step 5: Design Proposal.
We present a design draft for the project and discuss it with the client.
Step 6: Design Approval & Revisions.
Client accepts design concept.
Step 7: Content design.
We design the content of the website and discuss it with the client.
Step 8: Development.
We start the development and periodically present progress reports and updated demo versions.
Step 9: Testing & Delivery.
We present the finished version of the project on our servers and check it against the agreed SRS.
Step 10: Deployment.
We do the deployment on the client's server and do general testing to confirm functionality.
 
Throughout the development process Basecamp is used for project management.
